The 25th IAVE World Conference will take place in 16. - 20. October 2018 in Germany in Augsburg

For the first time in IAVE’s history, Germany will host the World Volunteer Conference. The host organization for the 25th IAVE World Volunteer Conference is Volunteer Center Augsburg.¬†They are working with several local (City of Augsburg, City of Augsburg’s Office of Youth and Family and Office for Citizen Commitment), regional (lagfa bayern e.V.), national (bagfa e.V., Association of Volunteer Centers in the German Caritas Association e.V.) and international (European University for Volunteering) partners to make this conference a reality.

European Volunary Service
EVS (European Voluntary Service) is an international volunteer program funded by the European Commission. It enables all young people legally resident in Europe, aged between 18 and 30 years, to carry out an international volunteer service in an organization or in a public body in Europe, Africa, Asia or South America for a period ranging from 2 to 12 months. It provides the reimbursement of travel expenses and complete coverage of the costs of food and accommodation for the international volunteer.
